Back Pain Through Overweight – Are You Affected?
Nowadays, more and more people are becoming Overweight. The main reasons for being Overweight are a low energy expenditure and – first and foremost -wrong eating habits. According to the American Obesity Association (AOA) 64.5% of all adult Americans (about 127 million people) are categorized as being Overweight or obese. In many other developed countries the figures are similarly alarming. Overweight and obesity are about to turn into a global epidemic. To carry about extra weight with oneself can result in several serious health issues, such as back pain through overweight.
Most people are aware of the more commonly known causes for overweight, such as coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and colon cancer. The majority of people, however, is not fully conscious of the health risk posed by back pain through overweight. Overweight contributes to different symptoms – the most common symptoms are osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, spinal stenosis and degenerative disc disease. If you are overweight and suffer from back pain you shouldn’t take your problem lightly. The first instance of back pain can be considered as acute or short-term pain. After about 2 month the complaint is becoming chronic and usually much more difficult to treat than acute pain.
Fortunately, compared to some more complicated causes of back pain, back pain through overweight is easy to identify. Even experienced sports physicians and doctors find it hard to exactly identify some causes of back pain, because the reasons can be of a very complex nature. However, if you are overweight you know the reason for your back pains. Your spine has the function to carry your body’s weight and to balance your body. When your spine is forced to carry a lot of weight, this can lead to structural compromise, poor posture and even severe damages. Back pain through overweight can easily lead to chronic complaints and you should take immediate action in order to get rid of your extra pounds.
The lower back is most susceptible to the effects of overweight. Lower back pain through overweight is caused by problems relating to your lumbar spine. Apart from overweight, back pain is also caused by an insufficient amount of exercises for your back and your pelvis base as well as by a sedentary resulting in a poor flexibility and weak muscles in your lower back. This leads to your lower back being increasingly curved because the pelvis shifts slightly forward. The result is chronic lower back pain, and if you want to solve your problem you have to lose your extra pounds. Back pain through overweight is definitely curable by keeping a healthy and balanced diet.
The most important factor when it comes to weight loss is to permanently integrate some significant changes into your eating habits. If you change some important key factors on a permanent basis you won’t fall into the yo-yo effect trap. Combined with some physical activity you will be able to lose weight once and for all. And by losing weight you will not only get rid of back pain through overweight, but you will also be able to prevent some serious health issues, such as coronary heart disease and colon cancer.

how do you live with physical injuries or imperfections that can't be repaired?i have a quite tough life circumstances really, not getting the right care, treatment, assessments for my psychiatric problems – i have BPD , ( borderline pd ) that im not getting any meds or therapy for and i have PTSD, OCD and severe anxiety problems that are ' undiagnosed ' that im not getting any help or assessments for.
i dont feel i whine about my situation , only tell the honesty and actual circumstances and reality of my harsh adversities.
i have a lot of obsessive racing thoughts everyday, that cause me great distress.
one of them for years is my vanity and physical imperfctions that can't be fixed , as told by surgeons.
im 31 and have 2 missing teeth , front, bottom row – 2 front bottom row teeth , lost in an accident when i headbutted a bus window in anger.
it cost thousands to replace them with dental inplants, which i cant afford because i live on disability.
i have a crooked , bent little finger on my left hand, that droops over slightly , surgeons said they can't straiten it, another said they cant straiten it without damaging the finger further.
the nerves in my knuckle on my right hand are damaged through striking – punching a wall many years ago because i snapped in anger.
i can still use my hand normally, but it hurts to tap the knuckle or to even hit a punchbag lightly, i get shooting pains in the knuckle, and a burning pain.
the knuckle was ex-rayed a year back and did not show any arthritis.
im overweight and out of shape through inactivity through depression and anxiety.
my left ankle is in an ankle brace and recently was taken out of a cast after being operated on because i tore the ligaments in it years back…….have to now organise physio appointments and wondering if its ' repaired properly '. it feels very weak like i could easily twist it again.
i was born with a slight curve in my lower spine , after getting lower back pain investigated a year ago………never realised i had the curve, until the investigation a year back………it doesnt really impair me much………..but still the fact…….theres a slight curve in my lower spine.
a physical imperfection.
ive missed out on everything in life so far including building ' any ' relationships….live in a 1 bedroom apartment on disability…….struggling to get the right care for my deep psychological and anxiety issues…. ive had all my life.
on top of that, how do i handle having these physical imperfections that ' can't ' be fixed ?
ive always been a perfectionist and very vain. so it doubly affects me.
I understand how you feel; I am a perfectionist myself. That is the one thing you have to overcome, though. 90% of happiness comes from your inner feelings, confidence, and the way you view yourself inside and out. If you learn to cope with the way you think you look, you shouldn't be depressed/anxious. Many people are going through your same problem. EVERYONE has TONS of things they'd like to change about themselves physically. When you wake up every morning, just say to yourself, "I am a beautiful person and nothing can bring me down", or something motivational like that. Get to a doctor ASAP for depression and anxiety. Good luck and God bless you

Do you want the truth or do you want someone to blow smoke up your ass? The truth is the following: The "imperfections" you claim to have are minor and mostly created by your attitude which you still have. However, the physical imperfections are going to mean nothing in your life since nobody will really see you for long. That will be due to the fact that you will not take peoples advice and help yourself. If you sit in that hole all day and night, how can a physcial issue be of any interest to anyone? Your problem is essentially solved.References :
Asking this question all day everyday will not solve anything.
Nobody is going to provide you a magic answer that will instantly fix your situation. I dont think there is even a solution to your "problem" and you get a kick out of knowing that and because nobody can help you the "woe is me, im doomed and no one cares" line plays in your head to feed and satisfy your depression even more.
Nobody here is going to tell you anything more than a doctor or professional will. If we really knew more than them do you think we would be on YA?
Nobody off here is going to come round to where you live and dedicate their lives to fixing yours. Dont expect miracles off anyone and dont expect other people to just forget about their own lievs and problems to assist you.
We all have it hard and think we have it the hardest in life below anybody else. Just take a step back and read your question again, it sounds completely silly and trivial.
Step away from the computer and do something different with your life, i dont care how confined and disabled you think you are there is something to do other than sit on a PC and post this garbage all day.
But you wont listen and this question will be posted again in a few hours with a slight variation to it in an attempt to further prevent people from providing any sort of help. Which is now the obvious end goal of yours to provide the "Unanswerable question".References :
